[F128B.(1)Notwithstanding any obligation not to disclose information that would otherwise apply, the Commissioners may disclose information to [F2a regulator] for the purpose of [F3assisting the regulator] in the performance of its functions.U.K.
(2)Information that has been disclosed to [F4a regulator] pursuant to this paragraph shall not be disclosed by [F5the regulator] except for the purpose of any proceedings connected with the operation of any provision of, or made under, any enactment in relation to insurance or to tax.]
[F6(3)In this paragraph “regulator” means—
(a)the Financial Conduct Authority;
(b)the Prudential Regulation Authority.]
