C1152 Meaning of F2“the Bunkers Convention”, “the Liability Convention” and related expressions.

In this Chapter—
F5“the Bunkers Convention” means the International Convention on Civil Liability for Bunker Oil Pollution Damage 2001;
“Bunkers Convention country” means a country in respect of which the Bunkers Convention is in force;
“Bunkers Convention State” means a State which is a party to the Bunkers Convention;
“the Liability Convention” means the International Convention on Civil Liability for Oil Pollution Damage 1992;
“Liability Convention country” means a country in respect of which the Liability Convention is in force; and
“Liability Convention State” means a State which is a party to the F3Liability Convention.

If Her Majesty by Order in Council declares that any State specified in the Order is a party to the Liability Convention F4or the Bunkers Convention in respect of any country so specified the Order shall, while in force, be conclusive evidence that that State is a party to F1that Convention in respect of that country.
