Merchant Shipping Act 1995

[F124(1)This paragraph applies where action is taken—U.K.

(a)in respect of a ship which is under arrest or in respect of anything in a ship which is under arrest, and

(b)in accordance with a direction under this Schedule or by virtue of paragraph 4.

(2)The action shall not—

(a)be treated as a contempt of court, or

(b)give rise to civil liability on the part of the Admiralty Marshal (including the Admiralty Marshal of the [F2Court of Judicature] in Northern Ireland).]
