SCHEDULE 16 S Pollution of rivers and coastal waters in Scotland: amendment of the Control of Pollution Act 1974

8 S In section 56(1) (interpretation etc of Part II) the following definitions shall be inserted in the appropriate places—

• ““drain” has the same meaning as in the M1 Sewerage (Scotland) Act 1968;”; and

““sewer” has the same meaning as in the Sewerage (Scotland) Act 1968;”.
