Any dispensation which was granted under the proviso to subsection (5) of section 9 of the M1Alkali, &c, Works Regulation Act 1906 before the transfer date and which would, apart from this Act, have been in force on that date shall have effect on and after that date notwithstanding the repeal of that proviso by this Act.
