SCHEDULE 8 U.K. Modifications of this Act in its application to Northern Ireland

Extent Information

E1 Sch. 8 extends to the United Kingdom but the operation of Sch. 8 is limited by application as mentioned in s. 70(6).

6 (1) In section 9(2)(a) for “a conciliation officer” substitute “ the Agency ”.

[F1 (2) In section 9(4) in the definition of “qualified lawyer” for the words from “means” to the end substitute “ means a barrister (whether in practice as such or employed to give legal advice) or a solicitor of the Supreme Court who holds a practising certificate. ”.]
