Transitional arrangements

(1)
This sub-paragraph applies to a rate of return—
(a)
prescribed by an order made under section 1(1) of the Damages Act 1996, and
(b)
having effect—
(i)
in relation to Scotland, and
(ii)
immediately before the appointed day.
(2)
A rate of return to which sub-paragraph (1) applies is to be treated from the appointed day as if it were set for the purpose of section B1(1).
(3)
For the purpose of this paragraph, the appointed day is F21 July 2019.
