SCHEDULE 2 E+W Social rented sector: housing complaints

Absolute privilege for communications, &c. E+W

9 E+WFor the purposes of the law of defamation absolute privilege attaches to—

(a) any communication between a housing ombudsman under an approved scheme and any person by or against whom a complaint is made to him,

(b) any determination by such an ombudsman, and

(c) the publication of such a determination or any report under paragraph 8.
