18 U.K. In Schedule 1 to the Local Authority Social Services Act 1970 (enactments conferring functions assigned to social services committee) the entry relating to the Education Act 1993 is omitted and at the end there is added—

“Education Act 1996.
Section 322....................	Help for [F1 local authority] in exercising functions under Part IV of the Act.”
