68U.K.In paragraph 8(3)(a) of Schedule 1 to the Local Government Act 1988 (competition) for “section 53 of the Education Act 1944 (whether or not also provided under section 41 of that Act)” there is substituted “ section 508 of the Education Act 1996 (whether or not also provided under section 15 of that Act) ”.
