Education Act 1996, Paragraph 36 is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 01 March 2025. There are changes that may be brought into force at a future date. Changes that have been made appear in the content and are referenced with annotations.
36(1)The repeal by this Act of—U.K.
(a)section 15 of the M1Education Reform Act 1988 (transfer of staff of School Curriculum Development Committee or Secondary Examinations Council), or
(b)section 248 of the Education Act 1993 (transfer of staff of National Curriculum Council and School Examinations and Assessment Council),
shall not affect the continued operation of section 15(3) to (5) or (as the case may be) section 248(2) and (3) in relation to any contract of employment in relation to which those provisions applied immediately before the commencement of this Act.
(2)Nothing in this Act shall affect the continued operation of Article 4 of the M2Education (School Curriculum and Assessment Authority) (Transfer of Functions) Order 1995 in relation to the person mentioned in that Article.
