Chapter II E+W Schools providing for special educational needs

X1 343 Nursery education in grant-maintained special schools. E+W

(1) No notice of proposals for a school to become a nursery school may be given under section 339(2) or (3).

(2) Subject to subsection (1) above, proposals under section 339(2) or (3) may, in particular, be made for the purpose of securing the provision of education for junior pupils who have not attained [F1 compulsory school age].
