68In section 64(5) of the Friendly Societies Act 1992, in the Table, in the entry relating to the Bank of England, for the words in the second column there is substituted “Any of its functions”, and after that entry there is inserted—
“The Financial Services Authority. | Functions under the Financial Services Act 1986 (other than as a designated agency within the meaning of that Act), the Banking Act 1987 or section 171 of the Companies Act 1989.” |
