SCHEDULE 7 U.K. Restriction on disclosure of information

Disclosure for the purposes of the Bank’s functions U.K.

2 (1) Paragraph 1 does not preclude the disclosure of information in any case in which disclosure is for the purpose of enabling or assisting the Bank to discharge—

(a) its functions as a monetary authority,

(b) its functions as a supervisor of systems for the transfer of funds between credit institutions and their customers, or

(c) its functions under Schedule 2.

(2) In sub-paragraph (1)(b), “credit institution” has the same meaning as in the M1 Banking Coordination (Second Council Directive) Regulations 1992.
