Section 16 (power to establish, maintain and assist primary and secondary schools) is amended as follows.

In subsection (1)—

(a)

at the end of paragraph (a) insert “ and ”, and

(b)

omit paragraph (c) and the “and” preceding it.

(3)

In subsection (2), for “, maintain and assist” substitute “ and maintain ”.

(4)

For the sidenote substitute “ Power to establish and maintain primary and secondary schools. ”
