Part I Procedure for dealing with statutory proposals: England

Objections

(1)

Any person may make objections toF1, or comments on, any proposals published under section 28, 29 or 31.

(2)

Where the proposals were published by a local education authority—

(a)

any objections F2or comments under this paragraph shall be sent to the authority within such period as may be prescribed (“F3the objection period F3the representation period”); and

(b)

within such period as may be prescribed the authority shall send to the relevant committee copies of all objections F4or comments made (and not withdrawn in writing) within F5the objection period F5the representation period, together with the authority’s observations on them.

(3)

Where the proposals were published by a governing body or promoters, any objections F6or comments under this paragraph shall be sent to the relevant committee within such period as may be prescribed.
