Part IIprocedure for dealing with statutory proposals

Objections

(1)

Any person may make objections to any proposals published under section 28, 29 or 31.

(2)

Where the proposals were published by a F1local authority—

(a)

any objections under this paragraph shall be sent to the authority within such period as may be prescribed (“the objection period”); and

(b)

within such period as may be prescribed the authority shall send to the F2Assembly copies of all objections made (and not withdrawn in writing) within the objection period, together with the authority’s observations on them.

(3)

Where the proposals were published by a governing body or promoters, any objections under this paragraph shall be sent to the F3Assembly within such period as may be prescribed.
