28 The [F1Police Fund].N.I.

(1)The [F2Department of Justice] may by regulations provide—

(a)for the establishment, maintenance and operation of the [F1Police Fund]; and

(b)for the payment into that fund of—

(i)fines imposed on members of the police force in disciplinary proceedings; and

(ii)such other moneys as may be specified in the regulations.

(2)The [F2Department of Justice] shall consult both the [F3Board] and the Police Association before making any regulations under this section.
