(1)The [F1licensing authority] shall maintain a register containing the following particulars for each licence issued under this Act, namely—
(a)the number of the licence, the name F2... of the person to whom it is granted, the date on which it is granted and the expiry date; and
(b)such other particulars as may be prescribed.
(2)The register [F3kept under subsection (1)] shall be available for inspection free of charge by members of the public at such place or places, and during such hours, as are determined by the [F1licensing authority].
[F4(3)The licensing authority shall maintain a supplementary register containing, for each licence issued under this Act, the address of the person to whom it is granted.
(4)The licensing authority may disclose the address of a licence holder to any person only if it appears to the authority that the person has a sufficient reason for requiring that information.]
