125E+WIn subsection (2) of section 1 of the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996 (application of Part I of that Act)—
(a)after paragraph (c) there shall be inserted the following paragraph—
“(cc)a person is charged with an offence for which he is sent for trial under section 51 (no committal proceedings for indictable-only offences) of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998,”; and
(b)at the end there shall be inserted the words “or
(f)a bill of indictment charging a person with an indictable offence is preferred under section 22B(3)(a) of the M1Prosecution of Offences Act 1985.”
