31 E+W+S In section 182C of the Social Security Administration Act 1992 (requirement to apply for national insurance number), after subsection (1) there is inserted—

“(1A) Regulations under subsection (1) above may require the application to be made to the Secretary of State or to the Inland Revenue.”
