20U.K.In section 67(2)(b) of the Local Government Act 1972 (which provides that regulations may make provision about the functions or areas of jurisdiction of certain bodies or officers in connection with changes in local government areas in Wales)—
(a)for “justice of the peace, stipendiary magistrate” substitute “ justice of the peace other than a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts), ” and
(b)after “police officers)” insert “ , and the functions of any District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts), ”.
