A licensing scheme may include provision for or in connection with—
a
the making of an application for a licence;
b
the grant of a licence (which must be for the licensed units applied for);
c
the issue of a licence;
d
the variation or revocation of a licence.

A person who intentionally provides false or misleading information in or in connection with an application for a licence is guilty of an offence and liable—
a
on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum; or
b
on conviction on indictment, to a fine.
