3U.K.The following provisions of the M1Metropolitan Police (Receiver) Act 1861 shall cease to have effect—
(a)section 1 (Receiver as corporation sole with power to hold stocks, shares etc);
(b)section 5 (power of Receiver to dispose of property etc); and
(c)section 9 (construction with previous Acts).
