Section 20 of the M1Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980 (interpretation of provisions relating to direct labour organisations) shall be amended as follows.

In subsection (1), in paragraph (a) of the definition of “local authority”, in sub-paragraph (i), after “section 3 of the Police Act 1996,” there shall be inserted “ the Metropolitan Police Authority, ”.
