13.— Failure to attend meetings. E+W+S

[F1 (1)] If the Mayor fails on six consecutive occasions to attend meetings of the Assembly held pursuant to section 52(3) below, he shall cease to be the Mayor.

[F2 (2) Any meeting of the Assembly which the Mayor is unable to attend because he is suspended or partially suspended under section 66, [F3 66A, 73, 78, 78A ] or 79 of the Local Government Act 2000 shall be disregarded for the purposes of subsection (1) above.]
