8In section 38 of the Limitation Act 1980 (interpretation)—
(a)in subsection (3), for the words from “within” to the end there is substituted “ is incapable of managing and administering his property and affairs; and in this section “mental disorder” has the same meaning as in the M1Mental Health Act 1983 ”; and
(b)in subsection (4)(b), after “receiving treatment” there shall be inserted “ for mental disorder ” and for “or mental nursing home within the meaning of the Nursing Homes Act 1975” there shall be substituted “ or independent hospital or care home within the meaning of the Care Standards Act 2000 ”.
