The Inspectorate may appoint such employees, including inspectors, as it thinks fit.

A person employed as an inspector is to be known as an Inspector of Adult Learning.

In appointing inspectors, the Inspectorate must have regard to the need to appoint persons who have the appropriate experience and expertise.
