(1)In sections 114 to 120—

  • local authority” has the meaning given by section 579(1) of the M1Education Act 1996 (interpretation),

  • [F1local probation board ” means a local probation board established under section 4 of the Criminal Justice and Court Services Act 2000, ]

(2)The power under section 114 shall not be used to provide or secure the provision of services outside England.
