The Secretary of State may by order provide for any provision of paragraphs 1 to 5 not to apply, or to apply with modifications, in such cases or descriptions of case as he considers appropriate.

Paragraphs 1 to 5 do not apply in relation to future enactments if the context otherwise requires.

Paragraphs 1 to 5 are subject to any provision made by or under this Act.
