Supplemental provisions relating to sections 47 and 50 U.K.

55 Consent to prosecutions U.K.

Proceedings for an offence under section 47 or 50 shall not be instituted—

(a) in England and Wales, except by or with the consent of the Attorney General;

(b) in Northern Ireland, except by or with the consent of the [F1 Advocate General for Northern Ireland] .
