General
13 Application of “fit and proper” test to companies etc.

For the purposes of section 3(3) or 4(1) a local authority shall be satisfied that a company is not a fit and proper person to carry on business as a motor salvage operator if they are satisfied that any director of the company is not a fit and proper person to carry on such a business; and section 3(4) and 4(2) shall be construed accordingly.

For the purposes of section 3(3) or 4(1) a local authority shall be satisfied that a limited liability partnership is not a fit and proper person to carry on business as a motor salvage operator if they are satisfied that any member of the partnership is not a fit and proper person to carry on such a business; and section 3(4) and 4(2) shall be construed accordingly.
