Article 2(2) (interpretation) is amended as follows.

In the definition of “community order”, after paragraph (c) insert—

ca

a reparation order;

a community responsibility order;

After that definition insert—

  • “community responsibility order” means an order under Article 36E of the Criminal Justice (Children) (Northern Ireland) Order 1998 (N.I. 9);

In the definition of “custodial sentence”, insert at the end—

an order under Article 44A of that Order sending the offender to secure accommodation;

After the definition of “probation period” insert—

“reparation order” means an order under Article 36A of the Criminal Justice (Children) (Northern Ireland) Order 1998;

After the definition of “young offenders centre” insert—

“youth conference order” means an order under Article 36J of the Criminal Justice (Children) (Northern Ireland) Order 1998;
