18(1)This paragraph applies where the Commission has determined that it should manage the investigation by the appropriate authority of any complaint [F1, recordable conduct matter or DSI matter] .E+W
(2)Sub-paragraphs (2) to [F2(6A)] of paragraph 17 shall apply as they apply in the case of an investigation which the Commission has determined is one that it should supervise.
(3)The person appointed to investigate the complaint or matter shall, in relation to that investigation, be under the direction and control of the Commission.
