Ordinary members shall hold and vacate office in accordance with their terms of appointment, subject to the following provisions.

A person may not be an ordinary member for more than 8 years (but this does not prevent a temporary re-appointment for the purpose of continuing to act as a member of the Tribunal as constituted for the purposes of any proceedings instituted before the end of his term of office).

An ordinary member may resign his office by notice in writing to the Secretary of State.

The Secretary of State may remove a person from office as an ordinary member on the ground of incapacity or misbehaviour.
