The Railways Act 1993 shall be amended as follows.

Section 1 and Schedule 1 (the Rail Regulator) shall cease to have effect.

Subject to the following paragraphs of this Schedule, in the provisions specified in the following table—

for “the Regulator” substitute “ the Office of Rail Regulation ”,
