Any power to make regulations conferred by this Chapter on the Secretary of State is exercisable by statutory instrument.

A statutory instrument containing any such regulations is subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of ParliamentF1, subject to subsection (2A).

A statutory instrument containing regulations under section 54(6), 56(10) or 71A may not be made unless a draft of the instrument has been laid before, and approved by a resolution of, each House of Parliament.

The regulations may make different provision for different purposes.
