Amend section 16 (execution of warrants) as follows.

In subsection (10)(i), for “chief executive to the justices for the petty sessions area for which he acts” substitute “designated officer for the local justice area in which the justice was acting when he issued the warrant”.

In subsection (11), for “chief executive to the justices” substitute “designated officer for the local justice area”.
