The Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001 (c. 16) is amended as follows.

In Part 1 of Schedule 1 (powers of seizure to which section 50 of that Act applies) at the end add—
73DExtradition Act 2003 (c. 41)
The powers of seizure conferred by sections 156(5), 160(5), 161(4), 162(6) and (7) and 164(6) and (7) of the Extradition Act 2003 (seizure in connection with extradition).
