23(1)[F1“Drawdown pension year”] means—U.K.
(a)the period of 12 months beginning with the day on which the dependant first becomes entitled to [F2dependants' drawdown pension] in respect of the arrangement, and
(b)each succeeding period of 12 months.

[F4(2)The drawdown pension year in which the dependant dies is the last drawdown pension year and ends immediately before the dependant's death.]
