9 Directions U.K.

(1) A direction—

(a) must be given in writing;

(b) may be varied by a subsequent such direction.

(2) A direction under section 2(2), (3) or (4)[F1 or 2A(1),] must be given in regulations made by statutory instrument.

(3) A statutory instrument making regulations giving a direction under section 2(2)(a) or (3)[F2 or 2A(1)] is subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament.
