Protection from Harassment Act 1997 (c. 40) U.K.

43 (1) Section 5 of the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 (power to make restraining order where defendant convicted of offence under section 2 or 4 of that Act) is amended as follows. U.K.

(2) In the heading, at the end insert “ on conviction ”.

(3) In subsection (2) omit “further”.

44 U.K. In section 7 of that Act (interpretation), in subsection (1), for “sections 1 to 5” substitute “ sections 1 to 5A ”.
