Spatial plan

60Wales Spatial Plan

(1)

There must be a spatial plan for Wales to be known as the “Wales Spatial Plan”.

(2)

The Wales Spatial Plan must set out such of the policies (however expressed) of the F1Welsh Ministers as F2they think appropriate in relation to the development and use of land in Wales.

(3)

The F3Welsh Ministers must—

(a)

prepare and publish the Plan;

(b)

keep under review the Plan;

(c)

consider from time to time whether it should be revised.

(4)

If the F4Welsh Ministers revise the Plan, they must publish (as they consider appropriate)

(a)

the whole Plan as revised, or

(b)

the revised parts.

(5)

The F5Welsh Ministers must consult such persons or bodies as F6they consider appropriate in preparing or revising the Plan.

F7(6)

The Welsh Ministers may not publish the Plan as revised or the revised parts of the Plan unless the Plan or the revised parts have been laid before, and approved by a resolution of, the National Assembly for Wales.
