A commissioner shall hold and vacate office in accordance with the terms of his appointment (subject to this Schedule).

A commissioner may resign by notice in writing to the Secretary of State.

If the Secretary of State thinks that a commissioner is unable, unfit or unwilling to perform his functions, the Secretary of State may dismiss the commissioner.
