In section 43 (appointment and removal of Director of Public Prosecutions), in subsection (6) after “Lord Chancellor” insert“after consultation with all of the following—

(a)

the President of the Supreme Court;

(b)

the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales;

(c)

the Lord President of the Court of Session;

(d)

the Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland”.
