44(1)Section 14 of the Government Resources and Accounts Act 2000 (summarised accounts) is amended as follows.U.K.
(2)In subsection (1) for [F1“section 98(4) of the National Health Service Act 1977 (requirement to prepare summarised accounts)” substitute “paragraph 7 of Schedule 15 to the National Health Service Act 2006 or paragraph 5 of Schedule 9 to the National Health Service (Wales) Act 2006”].
(3)In subsection (3) after “subsection (1)” insert “in respect of [F2 an NHS body within the meaning of paragraph 1 of Schedule 15 to the National Health Service Act 2006, other than one to which paragraph 1(2)(b) of that Schedule applies,]”.
(4)For subsection (4) substitute—
“(4)Before making an order under that subsection in respect of [F3an NHS body within the meaning of paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 to the National Health Service (Wales) Act 2006,] and the Treasury shall consult—
(a)the National Assembly for Wales, and
(b)the Auditor General for Wales.”
