Section 394 of EA 1996 (determination of cases in which requirement for Christian collective worship is not to apply) is amended as follows.

In subsection (8), for “(by virtue of section 35 of, and Schedule 8 to, the School Standards and Framework Act 1998)” substitute “

In subsection (8) “the relevant enactments” means—
a
in relation to England, sections 18 to 24 of the Education and Inspections Act 2006;
b
in relation to Wales, section 35 of, and Schedule 8 to, the School Standards and Framework Act 1998.
