National Health Service Act 2006, Cross Heading: How pilot schemes may be initiated is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 11 March 2025. There are changes that may be brought into force at a future date. Changes that have been made appear in the content and are referenced with annotations.
1(1)A pilot scheme may be made—E+W
(a)on the initiative of a Primary Care Trust, or
(b)in response to a request made by a person wishing to participate in the scheme.
(2)The request referred to in sub-paragraph (1)(b) must—
(a)be made in writing, and
(b)comply with such requirements (if any) as may be prescribed.
