Each NHS trust has a board of directors consisting of—
a
a chairman appointed by the Welsh Ministers, F2...

if the Welsh Ministers consider it appropriate, a vice-chair appointed by them, and
b
executive and non-executive directors.

Sub-paragraph (1)(b) is subject to paragraph 7(2).

An executive director is a director who is an employee of the NHS trust, and a non-executive director is a director who is not an employee of the NHS trust.

Sub-paragraph (3) is subject to any provision made by regulations under paragraph 4(1)(d).
