Section 24 of the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981 (regulation of conduct of drivers, inspectors and conductors) (as amended by Schedule 2) is amended as follows.

In subsection (2), for the words from “cause particulars” to the end substitute “ send notice of the particulars of the conviction to the Secretary of State requiring the Secretary of State to endorse them on the person's driving record (within the meaning of section 97A of the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988) ”.

Omit subsection (3).
